Santander World fue un proyecto de arte urbano premiado por la Fundación Santander Creativa, realizado durante la celebración del Mundial de Vela Santander 2014. Constaba de cinco esculturas de gran formato, intervenidas cada una de ellas por un artista diferente, representando a cada uno de los cinco continentes.
En el proceso de selección de artistas realizado por el promotor del proyecto, José Ángel Cicero y la Fundación, mi propuesta para la escultura Oceanía fue la seleccionada.
Fueron instaladas durante el campeonato en el frente marítimo de la ciudad, convirtiéndose en uno de los hitos más celebrados del Mundial.
En el año 2015 el proyecto recibió el premio internacional de diseño A´DESING AWARD, en la categoría Platinum.

Santander World was an urban art project awarded by the Santander Creative Foundation, held during the celebration of the 2014 Santander World Cup. It consisted of five large format sculptures, each one performed by a different artist, representing each of the Five continents.
In the process of artist selection carried out by the promoter of the project, José Ángel Cicero and the Foundation, my proposal for the sculpture Oceania was selected.
They were installed during the championship in the maritime front of the city, becoming one of the celebrated milestones of the World Cup.
In 2015 the project received the international design award A’DESING AWARD, in the Platinum category.
